Going to get my repeat meds from Dischem tomorrow...
Maybe the queues will be a bit shorter....
Any idiot who thinks that Clicks or any other pharmacy chain doesn't have the same policy is a moron....
At least my Clicks has some white pharmacists behind the counter :p

This is the the stated and enforced BEE policy for all JSE listed companies. They have no choice in this matter. They face ongoing fines for non compliance. Don't blame the companies for what is an ANC racist policy. You should be waging this war at the ballot box.

No shade on you personally, but this is the attitude that allowed policies like apartheid to continue as long as it did.
Punishing the other employees of Dischem is going to achieve what exactly?
You want change, take up terrorism like the ANC did in the Eighties.... or vote them out.

Abuse is not the same thing as discipline. I see the ban is working wonders. /s

When did this become sexual?

Because the likely hood if the child endured physical abuse very likely cases of sexual abuse as well, your likely to argue that being a minority as well.Next you going to argue there is a fine line between corporal punishment and abuse. If the purpose is to cause physical harm/pain it is abuse period. Convenient when you hit an adult it is assault, but when you hit a child it is a "punishment". I would hazard a guess there is as many cases of unreported abuse if not more compared to reported cases.

You going to tell me this wrong and is a minority and it is okay ?

Evidence shows that spanking and other physical punishments, while nominally for the purpose of child discipline, are inconsistently applied, often being used when parents are angry or under stress. Severe forms of corporal punishment, including kicking, biting, scalding and burning, can also constitute child abuse

corporal punishment is "effective in getting children to comply immediately," but it can also "escalate into physical maltreatment

Their role is making sure the policy happens. There is no law in South Africa stating who is white and who is black. A principled objection by a few employees to this by saying all their employees are "black" would knock down the entire tower. What is going to happen? Is some auditor going to do a pencil test on all employees to make sure they are actually not black?

Why would anyone need to sabotage the South African state? What damage can a terrorist group really do that the ANC's style of management hasn't done already?

Cut off water to a major metro area? Oh the ANC has already done that.
Blow up parts of a power station? Check.
Completely dismantle public transportation? Check
Make sure schooling doesn't happen? Check
Make sure healthcare services are disrupted? Check
Disrupt international shipping? Check
Cause fuel shortages? Check
Make sure police are unable to do their basic function? Check.
Damage a mine tailings dam to the point of collapse? Check.
Make sure critical drainage infrastructure is damaged such that a bit of rain washes away an entire city? Check.

The only thing a person needs to do to "change" the South African state, is simply state proof their lives such that they can watch the ANC destroy everything from their stoeps without it affecting their lives.

What does that have to do with corporal punishment? So far you're the only one that experienced "abuse". Why isn't this thread full of other stories of getting dragged by the scruff of your neck and beaten in class. There were standards back then.

I can't contribute intelligently therefore it's apartheid.

Why should Dischem be boycotted for simply driving compliance with the ANC Government's racist BEE directives?

Every single privately owned business is expected to comply with BEE or face the ANC Government.

Should the Discmen CEO issued a trigger warning before sending out his letter?

So you're actually fine with Segregation?
It's what the people want. You included. My preference is we don't exclude anyone.

Seemingly you have no problem with discem completely stopping hiring or promotion of white employees.

I'll go the the white store.
