I have stated multiple times why I sauly AA is not what caused Eskom's collapse, repeating that now is just going around in circles. Their flawed implementation of AA might have affected them negatively but it is not what led to their collapse.
All good. AA , BEE and Corruption caused it.

But still Eskom wanted to get rid of white people to make up stats. So most of skills get removed, and the rest can't cope. Instead of fixing it, government just say "Keep AA going" hence our power issues.

The military was the same. The ANC wanted to change the optics. They never thought it through as the services that depended most on technicians, who were mainly white, Indian or coloured would leave in droves, crippling the Air Force and Navy. Expensive service contracts to maintain the equipment were signed and the white, Indian and coloured technicians were recruited at a much higher salary than they got in the services.

The same people ended up maintaining the same equipment without military obligations like flying or going to sea for more money.

Overseas companies had employment offices in cars parked outside the base gate looking for technicians who guaranteed employment.

Cubans were brought in to maintain trucks of the army but there was no way they would be able to maintain the advanced Western ships or aircraft.

This has resulted in a military with a lot of broken equipment and a very low equipment utilisation availability estimated at about 20%. Western militaries consider equipment utilisation availability of 60% the norm. South Africa had a equipment utilisation availability of around 70% pre 1994 and Rhodesia 85% before Mugabe.

All because someone wanted the correct optics.

guys we have a complex past and everything. Lots of truly bad stuff. But we find ourselves in 2022 and what exactly is happening? Corporates like Dischem (and lets not fool ourselves, many many others) have a simple mission to hit a government-prescribed number in order to avoid penalties. What this is doing is enabling a relatively small priviledged group of the 'majority' to get access to loads of great opportunities, further their careers, receive corporate development and sponsortship etc. At the same time there is a priviledged group from the 'minority' who are reaching a point where they cant get promoted, or even hired (per Dischem), and like I say its not this one company - its a general thing across all big businesses. For those people, and in fact for any skilled person irrespective of color, oversease opportunities start getting explored, applied for, and taken up. Sometimes they dont even require you to leave the country. So brain-drain is ensuing and overall South Africa is not growing as quickly as it should be growing, meaning everyone suffers ultimately, especially the poor, when those tax rands start drying up. I dont know what the answer is but there surely has to be a better way.

Please let's not waste each other's time, you are the guy who thinks there was nothing wrong with apartheid, there is absolutely no point in explaining anything to you.

If you can supply facts, you may be able to change his mind. But you don't have any, hey? You only have political rhetoric to depend on.

Just a reminder that the rout of the competent and skilled white people at Eskom happened long before 2015, I know for a fact that senior managers were being "worked out" in 2000/1.

Correct. The big "transformation" drive started at the turn of the century inspired by Mbeki whose greatest spiteful goal was to see whites in cardboard boxes under bridges.

Just oiling the wheels, squeaky wheels ...

That was about the same time the government were told they'd urgently have to start looking at building more power stations at the new current demand rate. The report was file-13'ed.

Rinse and repeat this recipe for success. Currently we have water issues? People were worked out as well, Turton being an example.

Prof Anthony Turton was fired for pointing out that SA would face water issues unless the government started doing something about it. That was about a decade ago. His words are prophetic.

Any black people find it insulting that government would rather implement race laws than actually spend your tax money on job creation? Quite frankly the ANC is taking the piss out of you. They stuff the cash into their pockets and let the rest of you rot quite frankly. You know the government are stealing from your children's future and yet you as the voter base remain quiet. You say nothing about the corruption and destruction of YOUR economy and infrastructure.
TBH Government is taking the piss all the time...One way or another...
But I dont think the average cANCer voter is capable of this understanding though...
They all think their time to eat will arrive shortly...And will hang in till the end...

I don't know about other black people but I find your concern extremely touching, I almost shed a tear, I had to go outside and take a walk to compose myself.

You've posted this twice before, word for word. It's like you keep a text file on your desktop or something.

Where is the source of this?

View attachment 1409745

Many sources and it took years to compile. I keep it saved on my computer for these arguments. Feel free to dispute the facts one by one on OT.

The number of cars in Soweto comes from the book, "The communistitation of the ANC" by Gerard Ludi. He visited the USSR where he was trained as a spy while working for SA's Intelligence Services and he describes the utter deprivation of the USSR. He worked for Ruth First in her office as a member of SA Int. She had no clue he was from Int.

And seeing as you seemingly pulled the other numbers out of thin air - this makes me doubt any numbers you post, so please supply your source?

I need prove nothing to you. Use it, don't use it. Up to you. I notice you never ask the MyCadres for facts and they never provide any anyway.

The ANC have caused black South Africans to lose their voice and their fight. Instead of demanding to be treated with dignity, demanding an end to the destruction of the economy, demanding that thieving and useless ministers be removed, they sit silently and obediently taking it while their country is pulled into a hole by a fat cat band of brigands.

Don't cry for me. Cry for yourselves. They muffled you and took away your fighting spirit.
Again your words cuts deep, you can stop now, I need time to do some self reflection.

Not only at that level. It's the reason most of the waiters at a place like Mugg and Bean are black for a majority white clientele - because if the franchise employs more than 50 people, AA has to be implemented.
