Well, I've had more productive arguments with them. And seeing as every stats website I've found with information refutes your claim that SA is spending the most per capita on education. I'll just go ahead and assume the other figures are figments of your imagination then. Thanks for showing no personal growth since the last time we really interacted.

Here's a scenario. White woman has two kids, one fathered by a black and the other by a white. They have the same qualifications and apply for the same job. Who definitely gets it because of skin colour? Is it fair?

The proponents of Socialism always have theoretical discussions proclaiming how fair and good their philosophy is. According to them, everyone else implemented it wrong, but their own implementation will work (because they will do it "right"). The reality and truth is far from it, and that's exactly what @Cosmik Debris cartoon sought to convey, the parallels between the paradoxes of both Socialism and Affirmative Action. Both are immoral and tantamount to stealing, and that's exactly why both are wrong, and why both cannot work, even with the so-called "best intentions".

You seem to be enamored by a system that is fundamentally and morally wrong, that's what makes your personal morality appear to be questionable. The fact that you keep rabidly defending it in the face of clear evidence to the contrary, well, that makes you obtuse.

You can bleat about the small inanities all you want.
It doesn't change the fact that Affirmative Action is not actually Socialism.
Socialism is an Economic Philosophy.
Affirmitave Action is a form of Racial Redress for past Wrongs.
They may be done by the same people in some countries ( and were done by the same people in South Africa).
But that doesn't make them the same phenomenon.

More and more white people are standing up to approve Dischem's decision. It will diminish the minority interest Solidarity would require, taking such a matter to the courts in the public’s interest. I said in the very beginning that this was going to happen, and Dischem’s proponents are smart to use the Constitution in their arguments.
