Those extra 10 seconds are really going to kill you.Worst is when you want to just tap, but they force you to insert.
That's not right.
No, not remembering my pin because I haven't used it in such a long time is what kills me.Those extra 10 seconds are really going to kill you.

To authenticate an online purchase I only have to log in to my banking app and press Yes. No need to key in some random pin. What are you on about?

When i was changing banks, what Standard Bank offered me far far surpassed what I was offered by Capitec by a quarter mile lol. It wasn't even a comparison.Well they have almost double the users of the nearest competitor Substandard bank so not surprising. They also have the most digital users so I think things will change.
Shame been with Capitec since 2013 and haven't really missed anything. When i was changing banks, what Standard Bank offered me far far surpassed what I was offered by Capitec by a quarter mile lol. It wasn't even a comparison.
For starters, when i asked them do I get Priority Pass or LoungeKey for airport lounge access I got a blank stare. Since I'm in them so often I really didn't want to pay for a full lounge subscription.Shame been with Capitec since 2013 and haven't really missed anything.

Then I asked what car hire and hotel group discounts do their Mastercards do (Mastercard World Citizen gets major discounts at Standard Bank) - and again nothing.
I applied for a homeloan - Standard Bank beat Capitec's interest rate.
Granted, not all banks are perfect. I know SB does not work for some, and FNB works for others. And ABSA still for others. I just found Capitec did not give me what other banks did. Just my simple old Nedbank American Express card gives me more access to travel than anything from a lot of other banks.
