So on the 600 points, it really is:
Run 8km/h or faster, for 60 minutes or more.

I agree.

Discovery have it now as both 90 min (rule 4) and 60 min (rule 2). And I don't get points doing speed workouts and I can't get discovery to fix it if they themselves don't know what it is supposed to be...

Tell me about it, took me forever to get them to just fix the 300 point runs I do for 20 minutes 30 seconds.

What is your target currently? The best is if you start off from a low target, maximize that cash back period for the watch. Over time it will be hard to meet all 4 goals unless you're into endurance sports.

I'm only on 350 now, my Charge HR only measures steps so it is a mission for me to get to my goals.
Thats what I've been thinking, just to track enough workouts to make the weekly target and slowly build it up from there.

OK, so you could probably go another 3 months at least by hitting all 4 goals and getting full discount on your Apple Watch. Thereafter you might struggle if you aren't an endurance athlete. Get the Watch ASAP if you're going to do it, while your target is low.

Does Charge HR not send your HR to the FitBit or Health app?

Maybe... but it doesn't flow through to to discovery so you don't get HR points

FYI...the BP Discovery Miles 10x multiplier is currently in effect - there wasn't a huge song and dance about it, but I saw on their Twitter page that it started on 1/2/2016.

Pulled the trigger on this experiment on Saturday. Went to the Woodmead store and ordered this online exclusive item with my voucher. Man what a mission though... had to speak to 4 different people before I found someone that knew what needed to be done. Paid a 50% "deposit" so now have to wait for it to get here... website says up to 21 days .. *ugh*

Wow.. that was quick. It's ready for collection. Will swing past there tomorrow and feed back.

Well got myself the Muvit HRM (i-gotU) from makro for the price of R240 worth of ebucks (40% discount on R399). It works with Wahoo fitness which is the app I have been using up till now, so will see how it goes. By far the cheapest heart rate monitor belt I could find.

How would you get your HR into vitality? Wahoo Fitness does not seem to be a sync partner. And it doesn't look like you can do Wahoo->Mapmyfitness->Vitality

I am sure you could use the bluetooth strap with any fitness app you like? Strava, Endomondo etc. Certainly with a Polar
