This has to be the most corrupt gang ever to run this country, even outdoing the Nats, while constantly claiming, very sanctimoniously but falsely, to be 'redressing past wrongs'. If this pilfering and grand larceny are indeed redressing past wrongs, then give me back the past immediately, and let the true struggle begin afresh.

Someone designed a contract for bidders to tender for the installation of computer technology in local fighter aircrafts and helicopters, and suddenly resigned his plum job - immediately to resurface as the leading bidder and winner of the multibillion rand contract.

It echoed a similar scenario where someone else designed a tender for the second fixed-line telephone operator, and resigned his cushy job - just in time to bid successfully with his cronies, simultaneously raking in billions of rands on the side, (due to the gross abuse of pensioners' money) to oil the round and fat bums of the cliquey set.

This is just beginning. Only 12 years in. Imagine 12 years from now.

I have to disagree there. People that over estimate their own importance is the root of all evil. Of course they need cash to execute said evilness, and thats where the money comes in.

Show me one other government (besides maybe china) where 40 000 civil servants are up for fraud, budgets go unspent (except on fancy salaries or cars,) and the vice-president is given pocket money because he is unable to run a bank account?

I find it hard to believe the ANC suddenly just turned sour. It's the same ANC, only now there is no need to suck up to lefties any more because they are in power.
