Dismal speeds on HSDPA in Magaliesburg since 20 March 2015

I reported a fault with Vodacom about the HSDPA signal on Friday, we had storms in the area and as usual something was affected and (get this) as usual I am not getting anywhere with Vodacon. It seems going via the social media platform is a waste of time and if you try and report it over the phone you get the usual unplug, restart blah blah blah (I mean come one, who doesn't try that anyway?)

Does anyone have details of the Vodacon rep here so I can send the details though, attached are a couple of screenshots of the awesome and lightning fast speeds I get to endure....

Still no feedback or news on the problem, almost a week now....proper tardy!

Thanks, every time I have had an issue with Vodacom since 2007 this forum has helped get it sorted out...

Magaliesburg is west of Krugersdorp, about 30km from Krugersdorp on the R24 heading towards Rustenburg, still in the Gauteng province though.

The problem still persists, its so sloooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwww I cant even get onto the ABSA home page to do some banking......I bet no-one has even investigated this issue...

Takes about 5 minutes to download 140kb email!

I have not had any feedback from the guys on whether they are aware of the issue on your tower.

Think lets see if we can log a full on SR. PM me all your details. Main cell number, full name and exact address and alternative contact number.

I have logged a message to our Network Radio Planning division about what we have discussed and asked that they please prioritize this matter as well.

Well Vodacom would certainly loose in a snails race...a month later....

Our records reflect that your query is still under investigation with our Radio Planning Optimisation Division. The turnaround time for feedback is 14 days from the date (2015-04-15) that your query was handed over
To effectively resolve the problem, the following may be considered:
- Site optimization,
- A visit to the area to gather information
Once the investigation has been completed, a consultant from the Client Information Centre will contact you to provide feedback.

Update: Vodacom finally sent a technician out to my house yesterday who confirmed that there is either congestion or issues on the tower...awesome how long this is taking to resolve....
