We don't know until NDZ hands Squirrel the script tonight.

The lockdown level does not matter to me; the real question is, will the alcohol be back on the shelves come Monday?
It's possible, if they have stock and are able to reopen that soon. And it depends on your willingness to stand on a really long queue.

It's conceivable that they are allowed to open tomorrow.

People are speaking of building up sufficient buffers to see them through Dezemba. So if it's allowed I'll expect a lot of hoarding but I imagine the hard core drinkers will find it hard to hoard.

The real President has spoken. Or as someone else has said on this forum, the Doektator.

I expected the masses to be in full protest mode by now, even with the massive job losses Let alone no alcohol. Maybe it’s too cold still.

Please let us buy alcohol on the weekends again.
Those were the days.....
i have fond memories of back in the day we stood around a braai and when the flames erupted we would tip some beer over it to kill the flames and no one even blinked an eye-lid
aaaaah the good ole days :)
