DNS Settings

Hi!
Can anybody tell me if its better to have your DNS servers set up on each computer on a home network or is it better to have the DNS servers set up on the ADSL router? Or both maybe? When I load web pages some take quite a time before they even begin to open and with others certain elements on the page takes forever to load.

Load em on ur router or have them auto detected.

Should they then still be on the computer as well or should the DNS server then be the router?

DNS shouldnt effect the speed of your connection, the router should automatically pick up a DNS server from the ESR at the exchange, only when it doesnt or maybe the DNS that it picks up is not working, then only should you manually add DNS servers to your protocol settings..
