Hi! I want to launch my micro business sideline where I sell homemade beverages and condiments. Can anyone advise if a license/permit is required for micro start-ups ?
Many thanks!

Marketing through an online store, selling from home. Realllly small business venture :)

Thanks for the link :) I did come across this article, but from all my research it seems that for absolute startups it's not such a stringent criteria ? Once the business starts to grow is when the regulatory boards become interested ?
There is always the absolute way. I'm interested to know if anybody has actually done this and how they went about it ?
Came across an inspiring article about Rosemary Padi and her YaMamaGemmer gingerbeer brews.
I'll do the happy dance if she responds to my email :)

Happy to provide a sample - you'll have to either fetch from me or accept the courier charge ;-)

I think if it falls under a home industry type business you don't. Pop into your local home industry shop and ask most people are happy to help and they should be able to give you clear answer. I wouldn't complicate a start up with permits if not necessary. Good luck :)

Thank you! I've sent out a few emails, will make some calls as well, and send out some Facebook messages to other home businesses I find. Appreciate the feedback :)
