Do you believe in the existence of extra-terrestrials?

As stated. There are at least 100 billion stars in each galaxy and so far 125 billion galaxies have been detected. This means millions if not billions of planets. It would be rather naive and arrogant to think that we are the only intelligent beings in the universe. What do you think?

I'd like to think we are 'not' alone.

I mean, such a huge universe we live in, it'd be a waste if we were actually alone!

I just wish 'others' would show themselves.

I remember this one episode of Stargate: SG-1 where Daniel tells Jonas: "if you think your problems here are big, wait till you step thru the stargate, the problems out there will make the problems here seem insignificant"

Now having said that, if we could go out and explore the universe, meet other races and such, maybe life on little ol' earth could get better

I was going to say that I do believe that somewhere there must be some other kind of life, though that I doubt they've visited us and anally probed rural inhabitants - but I must say that spiderz has a good argument.

I believe that it's very likely that other "inteligent" extraterrestrial life exists, but that it's rather unlikely that they or us will ever come into contact.

There is life on other planets, and prob one where we have people the same as us on a different planet.

It's Impossible to have one planet in all the universe to have life and none others out of the billions there are has none. They are out there, will we ever get to meet them.... I highly doubt it
