No i dont believe there are et's out there no matter how big space is.
I know for a fact that if we were not alone there would of been some form of evidence through the age of man.

I think given the size of the universe (as "eloquently" demonstrated by Devill) we shouldn't even be discussing whether there's other intelligent life form in the universe. Its a given that there is (I am willing to bet Devill's spikey tail on this :D)

The "fact" that they haven't visited earth proves nothing, which intelligent life hosting planet have we visited?

And yes, i am a alien myself but you won't even consider the possibility which is why i said that

NO real evidence, all bogus.Lets say there is,then we are in big trouble..mass hysteria

Don't confuse the belief that ET's have visited us to the rather high statistical likelihood that other planets may support life. Even if we assume that life occur's very, very, very rarely then there should still be a couple of million extra-terestrial life-forms out there.

Do you believe in God?

Even so.

God could have created thousands of other planets. Doesn't mean God made only one earth. And if so Why all the other planets then ?

I do believe in God, and think that God could have done more than one earth, nothing wrong with that ;)

Yeah man. We know that life can occur given the right circumstances 'cos we're here. Of course we don't know what the right circumstances are exactly but even if we assume that they have to be identical to ours then the universe is big enough that the chances for life similar to ours arising on a planet similar to ours are very, very, very good.

lol, never said there was evidence, i just said that the probability that there is other life in the universe is good :)

we have only explored 0.000000000000015% of the known universe and all ready one species is in it.

Thanks. What I was trying to establish was that some people will believe in the unseen(God) yet there are literally thousands of UFO/alien-type reports every year(seen), yet people will ignore that.

I thought that is what you where aiming for ;)

Think about if for a second. We have one Sun with a few planets right.
Now every star you see in the sky at night is a Sun like ours meaning every star has a few Planets in their system..... Billions and Billions of Planets people... Bilions and Billions

The problem is that there are thousands of religious reports of the same nature. People being talked to by god etc. So by your logic, we should all be religious as well. See where that logic fails?

I think this discussion should be kept on topic though ;)

Yes I do believe that there is a possibility of life on other planets. I don't think we can expect them to come visit us any time soon, why should their technology be any more advanced than ours?

There is probably life in the universe outside of earth and probably intelligent life as well and while it is an interesting point to think about in a philosophical way it is really meaningless to us as there is a such a small chance of us and them ever coming into contact with each other we may as well be alone.

Indeed and keep in mind that the sun is one of the smallest stars.

I know, but people who report to have seen UFO's actually have evidence whereas people who are religious don't have that physical evidence.
