Do you connect to public Wi-Fi networks, including Vast, AlwaysOn, and business hotspots?

They are so slow and limited, it is hardly worth the bother

Capitec won't let me log on if I am using a public hot-spot

When at the airport, sure. I only do speedtests until my phone battery nears depletion. :crylaugh: This is only around once a year or so. No, we go to drop someone off. :p

99% of the time I don't, not because of security, simply because of the shlep having to sign up, log in etc. If I know I'm going to spend some time stuck at a place e.g. the airport or a hotel, then I will, but at restaurants, coffee shops, malls etc. I don't bother.

Telkom and AlwaysOn. The latter even gave me 4 hours for free and I don't know why.

My LTE is superior to these hotspots, so no. Stick to my Cell data

No, the 9 overlapping SSID's make it useless, honestly who sets up these Mall AP's? They just throw all the AP's on ch 1 6 and 11 then it becomes slow AF.

The only public wifi i used was the one in NYC, those LinkNYC is how it should be, gigabit free unlimited wifi.

Almost never. I hate navigating portals.

If it's a restaurant with a wifi password, then yes.

Nope. Telkom gives me 10Gb a month free to use on their public access wi-fi.

Never ever used it.

Nope - too much of an effort. I stick with my LTE connection.
