Do you get 3, 6 and 12 month phone contracts in SA

I'm about to be retrenched and not keen to sign up for a 2 year contract so, question one: do you get 3, 6 and 12 contracts?

Question 2: I'm looking at the MTN Sky packages but I can't find whether it is a pre-paid package if I bring my own phone.

If you are getting retrenched, it's probably best to not be signing into any term agreement...

Yep that's what I'm thinking as well. Now I just need to find out if MTN sky comes in month to month.
