I've tried it a couple of times saw there where some places that worked for good, where the anonymity meant good people would live to tell what's really going on in some dangerous places. People have tried to make it more "structured" during the past few years helping to keep the "dark" outside. Just, when you try it for the first time follow reputable sources, not some creepy looking, cult recruiting, pedofiele like site or person. The dark web is huge and there are people who can make life difficult for you. Be curious, not stupid.
There are some things you don't need to see such as the dark web but if you want to see something which has been filtered out by Google, download tor, I installed it once a while back, it's good for ananomous browsing, I don't have much use for it but download it and start looking around and your IP address will get flagged in no time! I also don't know how secure it is so you might have privacy issues!
Yes I know how, not a lovely happy place to visit. Horrendous videos of people offing themselves, child porn, illicit gun sales, drugs, prostitution. Likely a haven for Catholic priests to ply their trade happily ever after. Takes ages to load pages and get to valid addresses that actually work. Got bored haven't been back in many moons.
