Do you still buy and read magazines?

What are magazines? lolol :whistling::crylaugh:

But seriously though, who still does that. Last time I bought one I never read it, but funny enough, whenever I'm visiting someone I can read their magazines from cover to cover.

Nope... they are expensive, wasteful and not good for the environment.. an outmoded technology whose time has been and gone.

No.I used to buy south african mags but now get it all on twitter. If I had to buy magazines ,it would be one of those worldwide magazines covers a little bit about everything & many countries.

This is a dilemma. PRINT vs DIGITAL.

Where I live, our library stocks all the newspapers in the Province and a wide range of magazines (with the previous 12 issues in a box below the latest issue). I take my kids there once a week to get into reading and stimulate their minds away from TV and tech.

When we eat out, the restaurants here stock latest magazines and newspapers as well, so I get to browse most of the ones I am interested in.

I do however buy a local newspaper @R3 every weekend (with the odd Sunday Times, Burger or Argus), teaching my kids to scan headlines for now and look at the pictures. I read an article for them if they ask or show interest. Its a nice feeling sitting away from technology every now, reading in the garden or elsewhere. The newspaper also comes in handy at the braai...

But to answer the Q: No, dont buy magazines.

No, but I would if they were not so expensive as I don't like reading articles on a computer.
