With food prices already super expensive, the material and paper adds another tax on groceries. Plastic is the way still to go.

What do you think of my point? Please Share. Like. Watch.

Plastic is still a money making scheme, you need to carry all the loose items all in your arms (or juggle if you have the skill), that will show them.

Well.... Have tried once or twice to go hobo friendly and chuck everything in the trolley and then chuck everything in the boot. And then when home grab the laundry basket and then chuck it on the counter. And then chuck the wife in the kitchen. Wife chuck it in the fridge.

But I don't find it sustainable for the future. We do have packing mechanics at the tills. Paying R1 or R2 plastic tax for them to pack is cheaper than a wanga induced cargaurd.

Other - combination of plastic bags, paper bags and recyclable bags that we have accumulated over time. If we forget bags, I put everything in the boot and don't buy anything as I am pretty sure I have at least 12 woolies bags by now.

Most of the time I use the plethora of Woolworths shopping bags that we spent a years worth of toilet paper money on but I do get plastic bags from time to time to use for throwing away things like dog poo, fire place ash, etc.

I mostly do not use plastic bags. I have woollies bags that I take along with shopping.
On occasions like Christmas and public holidays, when I do forget to take the woolies bags.
I just use the trolley and chuck everything in the boot.

It's a hassle, but those occasions remind me that I am forgetful and should not forget the woolies bags at home.
The cycle then repeats itself...

Other: Large plastic bags that stay in the boot, don't need small bags for the food while in the trolley.
