But who would WANT to go for leisure in what will just be mass stress of avoiding people, restaurants, sanitizing constantly and wearing masks everywhere? With the chance that you return from your "holiday" with a potentially fatal illness.

Yes, they must do that and get over themselves, seriously.

As long as there are social distance practises in place, I don't have an issue. Also sanitise, sanitise and sanitise.

But id does require all the rest to be in place as well. Accommodation, etc at the destinations.

Fellow members remember forget the leisure and think about your safety, your health and overcoming this imminent health threat. We all feel the need to explore again, and we will. Let us see out this year 2020 so as to enjoy 2021.

Yes , we are all probabily going to be exposed to this at some point , some will contract , some wont , just a fact. Some may have complications ,and of those that do , the vast majority will recover.
People cannot put their lives , income and business on hold indefinately every time a new virus crops up.

CAN'T SEE HOW THE AIR FILTERS CAN HELP IF THE INFECTED PERSON IS SITTING ADJACENT TO YOU AND HAS TO PUSH PAST YOU ON HIS WAY TO THE BATHROOM OR TOUCHES SEATS AND ARMRESTS ETC.
IN MY OPINION THE FILTRATION SYSTEM WILL AVOID LARGE SCALE INFECTIONS WITHIN THE AIRCRAFT, BUT NOT BE EFFECTIVE FOR PEOPLE SITTING IN THE IMMEDIATE VICINITY OF THE INFECTED PASSENGER.

Technically, giving money to an airline and a hotel is business, is it not? It's just that you haven't paid R100 to CIPRO to register a shelf company to trade as. So really, what I'm saying is, all the regulations are commie bull dust.

Of course, since that highly paid fool said the filters will gobble the virus for us.

Do you think local air travel for leisure should be allowed?
Given that the vaccine trial has discovered that way more people have had Covid19 at some point than first realised, yes.
The numbers will peak and then go down, not because we stopped it, but because herd immunity is real it seems.
It's just taking us longer than the rest of the world because we aren't testing.
