This is purely for educational purpose and hopefully no kid comes across this, and thinks it is good to do LSD (Ah I feel so responsible)

Anyway away with the maturity, do you yourself think that LSD has any benefit, and I don't mean using it on a regular basis, but more like a once off type of thing, with the right mind set and being able to achieve what you want in that state of mind mentally, now I have never used LSD nor tried any other drug for that matter and don't intend, purely because I don't think i could cope with a high, but I do read alot about drugs etc. just for interest sake,LSD and DMT(basically LSD on LSD) have probably caught my attention the most as I feel used correctly it could really help sort yourself out if you know what I mean, my friend too LSD every now and then and he would say to me that it is like walking inside of your brain, basically picking at the bad things and good things.

Have you watched the TV series "Fringe"? Quite awesome, and possibly the best modern Sci-Fi TV Series currently out there. Dr. Walter Bishop, a scientist, the brain of brains, is a big time user of LSD, and always talks of its benefits.

Getting back to your main point: No you should not use LSD, or any other narcotics. In the long run, they'll destroy you, no matter how good the short-term benefit might seem.

Have you asked your friend what he feels like the next day or when the high is going down??
Not a very good feeling at all.... Everything that goes up must come down!

The main reason why drugs are addictive is because users cannot cope with the come down so they take more to keep the high going...

The "hangover" feeling is something you would not like at all... I tried it been there done that...

Trust me the high isn't worth for what comes after that...

LSD - Lysergic acid diethylamide has a number of warning labels that need to be attached to it.

1: It's illegal
2: It is NOT addictive - but if you enjoy it you will do more than you would originally thought of doing on a more regular basis.
3: Can be associated with other body harming drugs. But it's not. It causes a chemical reaction and that's about it. No poisons being filtered out by your body.

LSD has been around for sometime as we know from old Doc Hoffman.

Benefits: Yes... You can have a good time. Yes it could be seen as "taking a peaceful walk around in your brain" You will see things that youve never seen before, partly hallucinations along with altered state of mind - "Wow those little fibres on a blade of grass are soooo cool!"

Cons: You could end up having a VERY VERY bad time. The mind is a powerful thing as we all know.
Take the worst dream or paranoia/panic attack you've ever had and multiply it by 1000. And it will last for 16 hours.

I, in no way condone taking drugs nor do I encourage it. Each person to their own. So if you want to try it, make sure you KNOW what you're in for, and make sure you aren't putting something bad inside of you. be careful who you buy from.

In closing:

You could have the best time ever and never get to do it again... Or you could have a bad trip and never want to do it ever again. Your choice.

"Benefits" : Giggles, having a good time - But please lawdy lawd. make sure you are in the right mindset and surroundings when you do.

Actual benefits.... None.

The inventor long promoted it as an psychoanalysis and personal growth medicine.

But I think if you are not able to resolve your issues without drugs going onto drugs seems like a bad idea.

Maybe if it was legal for psychiatrists to use as a method of retrieving difficult memories in an easier way for the patient under controlled conditions.

Rather use (digest) cannabis, this actually in fact does have benefits..... the only down side... you will get judged by people who are uneducated about it.... just watch this space.....

Be very careful about were you take and with whom you take it!

It did me the world of good, but not so much for the person I took it with when we were in the army who ended up with a sort of LSD psychosis.

Make sure its good quality i.e. microdots which look like lighter flints or make some tea with mushrooms.

Most important part is the correct dosage and an "experienced" space cadet as your mentor.

You can never ever be ready for the effects and patterns your mind is going to throw at you.

Even when you close your eyes the patterns are not going away. O and don't forget the music..........

You could end up creating a new religion and earn millions in counseling fees.

LSD is an antipsychotic is was created for treatment of psychosis but was later banned due to misuse like most medicines of this calibur (cocaine for example still is the most potent and unmatched local anaesthetic), though I doubt you will be able to procure a pharmaceutical grade LSD therefore I would say no because you have no idea what these okes are 'spiking' it with to improve the high, remember they care not for your health just your top dollar

Loaded question if any...

I've taken LSD over 200 times over a period of about 10 years. Last time was about 6 years ago.

I'm successful in my career, happily married and have 3 well adjusted children. I look young for my age and have no physical, mental or emotional issues other that the ADHD which I had way before I ever touched it.

Did it benefit me? Absolutely! My boundaries of what I believe is possible and what the world around me is have been greatly expanded. My understanding of my own mind and how it functions is far ahead of what it was before I imbibed. Did I have difficult experiences? For sure. Thought I was dying (or worse) a few times and spent a few months borderline insane when I overdid it.

Will it benefit you? Is it harmless? Can't say. And I'm pretty sure someone already on the edge can be pushed over (as with cannabis). So while I believe it will be be beneficial for most people I will not recommend it to anyone. I have in fact observed a perfectly normal person have a single bad 1st experience and become much more introverted and insecure as a result. The universe can be a big scary place for some and if you are a fearful person LSD will multiply it 100x.

If on the other have you are an adventurous person who wants to see past their own preconceptions and beliefs even if its bound to be scary at times, then ... well make up your own mind.

The British Army experimented with it WAY back.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-rWnQphPdQ

The dose and strength of the LSD-25 given to them must have been something VERY special.

Enjoy the vid. And listen to the commentary if you have sound.

Still the best video on YouTube, "with one man climbing the tree to feed the birds" gets me every damn time!

Physical benefits of LSD are probably fairly few and far between, but I do know it was originally developed as a Hydrostatin(draws out water) and coagulant to put in battle wounds in WW1.

Well I am not asking as if I want to take it, I am just asking out of interest, just like we are all curious about certain things, I just want to know if any members have used it before and felt a benefit from it, also I wasn't asking on a regular basis, basically just a once off thing, I just find it interesting to hear peoples responses, as I deal with alot of customers i've come accross a few addicts/ex-addicts, and meth and heroin is really from the devil, shame feel sorry for those guys in a way.

LSD is not a narcotic, and the remainder of your advice is as ignorant as this mistake, sorry to be blunt.
