Let's see anyone being arrested...
Then goalposts would quickly be moved, remember when the VBS lot were running free and wild and everyone was complaining that no one was arrested? Guess what happened when arrests were made.

Fortunately I have long made peace with the fact that nothing will ever please some people here.

Do you think President Cyril Ramaphosa’s recently announced special measures to fight corruption during the COVID-19 pandemic will work?

More here: Corruption crackdown in South Africa

No, even if all the corruptees are removed it will continiue, its digitally embedded in systems worldwide over last 30 years, one way is for every law or rule created you must remove 7 and thats not a gurantee over many years either.
Good luck in any case to the whole world for that matter.

Have any of the previous efforts produced any credible results, other than culling a few political foes.

It mostly depends if you are prepared to acknowledge the results and your definition of credible, I can totally see how the definition can be used to give credence to the results or discredit them.

Corruption in SA is bigger than him it will take a big cultural change before we start to see the "light".

Peek across the waters:

The US has led the charge in not only these types of fraud, but also online fraud abusing the pandemic. They even had Nigeria in awe with the arrest of Ray Hushpuppi in Dubai. Just for fun ... he was also into CovID scams, wrong scam at the wrong time.

Wonder if our leadership can catch tips?
Maybe the leaders of the looters get 'catched' :) (please let there be some USDs involved in any looting!)

It has about as much chance of working as nhi has of giving decent Healthcare to allocate south Africans.

Not a ****ing snowballs chance in hell.

A few token arrests will be made, ones or two groups will get prosecuted.

But they will be nothing more than a distraction while the anc elite laugh all the way to the bank
