In an attempt to piss me off and make me regret buying my HTC Touch just a week ago, HTC has made the HT1100. It has HSDPA, a camera on the front panel for video calling a slide out numerical keypad, 400mhz processor, but no WiFi (apparently there wasn't enough room).
I don't know why they added the slide out numerical keypad though, wouldn't a qwerty keyboard have been a better idea? On every single review I've read of the HTC Touch, there were complaints about the on screen keyboard. Why didn't they fix that?
It features the same TouchFLO "technology" as the Touch but with some new additions: to zoom in to pictures you rotate your finger clockwise, counter clockwise to zoom out, you can also flip through pictures by swiping your finger, kind of like the iPhone's picture viewer. I'm hoping they release these goodies as a software update soon.
The phone will be available in Japan early 2008. Heres a youtube video showcasing the nifty picture viewer.
