Dodge Resellers

i was just wonder from people in cape town who got there iburst installed by a guy called shaun mc. Coz he installed mine and before install he should have check the signal and didnt then instead of giving me the modem box with the utd cable and the ethenet cable he gave me nothing. I had to use my own ethenet cable and did not recieve the utd cable so now i cannot upgrade my firmware without paying R600 for a new one. I phoned the helpdesk number and i spoke to a guy call charlton who was very helpful and sed that the slow speeds is of an outdated firmware and he sed i should update it and i cant.

can sum1 plz tell me weather or not shaun mc. is a dodge reseller or not

Sounds dodge, why don't you phone them (the resellers and complain).
Maybe he was having a bad day and just wasn't thinking... still thats no excuse

Wow Quinn, nice english you got going there... um, by UTD cable do you mean the USB cable for the modem? Because you can lend mine if you want. You just need it to update your firmware, which i need to do aswell anywayz. I just need the windows CD from you in return, so i can finally fix my PC and get a new Harddrive for it.

I thought so too, but according to the Lord he needs a USB cable, I myself have never manually upgraded my firmware yet my IBurst is perfectly fine. By the way i know Lord Demarkylin personally so my post is mainly aimed at him not really meant for the whole forum in general.

I can tell you the broadbandexpress is a great reseller as far as service goes, i had them install my Iburst and they came the very next day after I phoned them both to test and install the system.
