Here is a real head-scratcher regarding Facebook:
A relative of mine recently acquired the Nokia N97 and I proceeded to do the new firmware upgrade for him. Everything except the GPS performed more or less as expected.
A week later he started having issues with the Facebook app not wanting to log in anymore, but sometimes it still did on the fourth or fifth try using the same login details.
This weekend I started to look for the problem, and found that I now could not even log in via a regular PC's browser using those details. I tried resetting the password and the reset instructions came through to his regular e-mail account. I then resetted the password and tried to log in again, but no luck.
I then proceeded to try and register him as a new user using the exact same e-mail address as before just to see what might happen, and low and behold Facebook did not give me the error message stating that this e-mail address already has an account associated with it.
Now there are two identities of himself registered under the same account with the same login details. He can even befriend his old identity, and the friend requests comes through on his regular e-mail account as it did before.
Anyone have an idea or an explanation how this is even possible and what might have happened to cause it?
