Yet another attempt by the za govt to control the internet. I don't see how DN issues are going to affect 'the digital divide'.

essentially about domain names and how they are to be managed...most public face of this is domain name disputes - there has recently been a case on the name "mens health" + others in SA involving Kalahari, south africa.com

at the moment and in the absence of the domain name authority getting its act together the only way to resolve these disputes other than be negotiation is to go to court...there are draft resolution rules out to help speed up resolution and make it cheaper...these matters will also be heard by service providers with the necessary expertise (most judges do not have this)
