You do understand that this involves people (particularly Kushner) whose security clearance depends on them telling the truth, rather than keeping their mouth shut?
You DO realise you are talking about politicians, yes?

Trump Jr release series of emails. In the email it explicitly says Russian Government Attorney.

Oh and the subject of the email is Russia-Clinton.

Email clearly states Russian government wishes to share this information because of its support for Trump.

Yip that is the point. Emails clearly stated Russian Governement Attorney with info on Clinton from Russian Government who support his father.

Perhaps Goldstone misrepresented the role of the lawyer, but it is clear this lawyer had connections to the government and quite noteably the enail says that this is part of their support for Trump.

What are the other parts?

Yes, and what's more - the entire chain was forwarded to Kushner and Manafort - so yet another confirmation that they lied, repeatedly, about it, too.

In at least one case the Democrats have shown that they have the necessary moral fibre:

Gore aide receives, then lets go of hot potato

Is there any reason the Republicans cannot do the right thing?

The Republicans were informed in real time that the Russian hacking was going on and refused to act then, too. It's cool because their guy was being helped.

You do realize that low moral expectations aren't axiomatic for politicians, right?

More importantly, SF86 forms (for national security clearance) make it very clear that knowingly omitting or lying on it is a felony. Politicians are usually honest on there, because of its seriousness. That's where Kushner lied, repeatedly.

I see the Trumpets are spinning at a rate of knots again. :crylaugh:

Yet another 'fake news story from the MSM' that is confirmed.

If only we could harness their spinning, Eskom would be redundant.

So is Watergate II now finally a go ahead?
Patience young one. It will only happen when the Republicans find the village idiot of no use anymore.

They have a get out of jail free card at the moment. They can do whatever they want. If things head south, they will shiff him and blame him for everything

Pretty much what I think, too.

Although Pence's statement is pretty cold...

https://www.businessinsider.com.au/mike-pence-donald-trump-jr-russia-emails-2017-7?r=US&IR=T

“The vice president is working every day to advance the president’s agenda,” Marc Lotter, Pence’s press secretary, said in a statement. “He was not aware of the meeting. He is also not focused on stories about the campaign — especially those pertaining to the time before he joined the campaign.

Let's not forget he also either trotted out lies about Russian contacts, or was lied to by the Trumps.

This seriously looks like a case of Beat the Joneses, or everything is bigger & better in America. :erm:

We have shower-head - they have Golden shower-head.
The zuma's son with the guptas - trump's son with the Kremlin.
The gupta email leaks - Hillary Clinton's email leaks as well as Donald Jr's emails.

Where's the confirmation btw? That there was an email trail and a meeting was never disputed in this thread so a confirmation would be quite the waste of time. That it has been connected to the Kremlin has not been confirmed. So what exactly are you on about?

I was being a bit too diplomatic then, I'd bet on the NYT publishing yet more fake news in the name of furthering the Democratic Party's anti-Russia propaganda at all costs.

You must be joking; you've disputed every single aspect of this story, all the way.

That it has been connected to the Kremlin has not been confirmed. So what exactly are you on about?

What was confirmed beyond any reasonable doubt, is that Trump Jr intended to meet with Russians connected to the Kremlin, in order to obtain dirt on Clinton as a result of their campaign on behalf of Trump Sr.

Then it should be very easy to quote proof right? :erm: (hint: your quote proves f-all)

:crylaugh: lordy-lord that read like the plot of a Days of Our Lives episode, nothing but bad soap opera script.
"Ooh! The son of someone thought he'll meet with some random government person who turned out to be just random, not government! ... Juicy scandal!"

It would be funnier if it wasn't so pathetic, the liberal media is clutching at thin air, not even straws.

I was wondering how you'd try to spin this. I was pretty sure the crylaugh emoji would be involved somehow.

The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father.
This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump - helped along by Aras and Emin.

Seems we have some time and if it's what you say I love it especially later in the summer. Could we do a call first thing next week when I am back?

Best,

Don

52 U.S. Code Section 30121 provides that:

(2) a person to solicit, accept, or receive a contribution or donation described in subparagraph (A) … from a foreign national.

The last thing i checked, intent to commit a crime is a crime.
