Attorney General Jeff Sessions barely complied with a court order forcing him to reveal an important national security form, but his answer isn’t resolving any questions.

On June 12, a judge ordered Sessions to release sections of the Standard Form 86 regarding all communications Sessions has had “with any official of the Russian government,” according to a report by NPR. This was in response to a Freedom of Information Act request filed by the ethics watchdog group American Oversight.

In response, the Department of Justice only released one page of Standard Form 86, which checks “No” to the question of whether Sessions has had any contact with a foreign government in the last seven years. Much of the rest of the form seems to have been redacted.

“Jeff Sessions is our nation’s top law enforcement officer, and it is shocking one of his first acts after being named Attorney General was to mislead his own agency about a matter of national security,” executive director Austin Evers said in a statement.

Sessions brazenly lying on his SF-86 form, which is a felony.

Trump lawyers knew of Russia emails back in June

President Trump’s legal team was informed more than three weeks ago about the email chain arranging a meeting between his son Donald Jr. and a Kremlin-connected lawyer last June, two sources familiar with the handling of the matter told Yahoo News.

Trump told Reuters in an interview on Wednesday that he learned just “a couple of days ago” that Donald Jr. had met with the Russian lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, hoping to receive information that “would incriminate Hillary” and was “part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump.” A day earlier, on Tuesday, Donald Jr. released the email exchanges himself, after learning they would be published by the New York Times.

Trump repeated that assertion in a talk with reporters Air Force One on his way to Paris Wednesday night. “I only heard about it two or three days ago,” he said according to a transcript of his talk when asked about the meeting with Veselnitskaya at Trump Tower in June 2016 attended by Donald Trump Jr., Paul Manafort, then Trump’s campaign chief, and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.

But the sources told Yahoo News that Marc Kasowitz, the president’s chief lawyer in the Russia investigation, and Alan Garten, executive vice president and chief legal officer of the Trump Organization, were both informed about the emails in the third week of June, after they were discovered by lawyers for Kushner, who is now a senior White House official.

Garson didn't blame anyone with his partisanship. At best you can claim that his views were trying to claim undue credit. Within the context, though, his comment is definitely right because the left wing advertises welfare while the right wing advertises jobs, mostly cuz conscientious people have a strong emotional attachment to a good work ethic, which is basically a huge portion of the conservative mindset.

It's highly odd that people suddenly seemed to believe Donny Jr. when he said there's nothing more to this meeting/email when he's lied about it for literally more than a year, including up to the Saturday before they came out. As did Kushner and Manafort.
