I think Poland played Trump like a little fiddle. Bus in some "supporters". Boost his ego, curry plenty of favour. Pretty much all you need to do with Trump.

And get him rambling on about fake news to justify their own state-controlled media.

If you haven't watched the Warsaw speech, do yourself a favour and do. Great speech.

Strange how in one of his opening statements he directly affirms his appreciation for the contribution that immigrants have made to the USA ...

So much of that speech just contradicts so many of his other assertions. Here is preaching about strength in unity, but on another day he preaches about being isolationist.

They never will. They don't want to. It doesn't matter that the principle is very simple and has been explained a thousand times. They are still addicted to the social praise they get from subscribing to the false narrative. It's why they lost and why they will lose again and will be equally as dumbfounded.

I can't imagine anything can be as addicting as the social praise from getting 'it'.

Explain? I saw a history lesson laced with incredible irony.

He offered much sympathy for the hardships that Poland faced throughout WW2. Hardships brought about by isolationist and appeasement policies of the 1930's UK, US, France etc). Policies not to dissimilar of the rhetoric which him and his state department have been spouting since his inauguration.

He spoke more of religious ideology, than democratic ideologies.

And while Poland's biggest threat is Russia and not Islamic extremism, he focused more on this. The very reason Poland wants the Patriot missiles is to provide defense to a missile strike from Russia. Russia conducted military drill along the border of Poland recently, where the simulated a nuclear attack. He still fails to understand how NATO works. Still thinks that countries are supposed to pay into some central fund.

What did you read into it?

Well, as I've said previously - I certainly understand Zuma and the ANC's support more after the US election. Might be one of the few things Garson and I agree on. :p

We really do live on different planets... I see Maddow and her team's vetting of documents as responsible journalism and you see it as an attack on 45. Go figure.
:erm:

Re-read the story. If Maddow got Punk'd with a fake document and said "my bad", then there wouldn't be anything to talk about. But the fact that Maddow is now trotting out conspiracy theories when her own work conclusively debunks her own claims is sloppy at best, and outright disinformation and lies at worst. Either way, it deserves derision and contempt.
