Kellyanne Conway last week: “I’m asking why you and the polling questions, respectfully, are still saying ‘wall’ when the president said you can call it whatever you want.”

That was the first thing I thought of when I saw he's tweet.

What’s really funny, is the fact that the media and Gillette snowflakes can only use gramma or spelling mistakes that he makes to fault him on.

Bruv, let me point out to that this the third thread on this topic. 13000 posts in each one. Not counting all the other random threads.
So if indeed he had made so many spelling and grammar errors in the last three years to fuel 13000+ posts of criticism (assuming a roughly equal split) of only his spelling and grammar then I would objectivity call that spade "a serious f*ing concern".

What's really REALLY funny is that I bet you would hold your own child in primary school to a higher standard. I hope.

If barriers always work then why do we have house robberies in SA even though we have so many walls around properties?
Point.
I'd also make the ironic point that the more walls built around properties, the higher the crime rate has gotten.:D
From a criminal's point of view, the higher the wall, the more pressing the need to get over it. And once over it, the home is isolated from curious onlookers.
I know that's not a complete evaluation, just some points to consider.

But barriers always work. Lets be frank here.

Yes to some extent a border wall would deter entries and drugs. That's why there is already a large portion of walling across the border. Previous administrations esp GW Bush went to egregious lengths to secure the land needed to build it.

Trump's problem now is basically that he's trying to solve the 'last mile' - all the easily available land is quite well secured and the rest is protected under environmental and private landholding rights that will take a huge legal effort to seize back, at dubious ROI. The cost of building any new wall will be phenomenal and way out of proportion to its benefit.

Do you have a barrier around your property?

Do you sleep within walls and lock your doors?
Yep and they are certainly necessary (mostly so I can walk around my garden in my onnies).

But you are making the assertion that walls always work? But work at what exactly?
  • Delaying a burglar or intruder entry by 30 seconds?
  • Providing a good canvas for graffiti artists?
  • Not allowing my dog to escape?
What exactly are they effective at? Please be specific.

EDIT: to be clear, from my perspective walls do nothing to help me manage unauthorized entry to my property. The key elements there are cameras, beams, indoor passives, security system etc. These are the things that allow me some slim chance to actually do something about an incident.

Following your assertion all these industries and security companies are redundant? Wall should be enough?

C'mon dude look at your own life here for some logic and rationality.

Final plea: let's look at farms which are bigger properties. So farmers build actual walls around their entire properties? .... no they don't. Light fencing yes, walls no. Maybe you should ask them why not if you are unwilling to listen to us.

<snip>

Why Warren specifically?
I think she lost a lot of credibility with the whole Kavanaugh fiasco and then her (stupidly small %) Native American claim and the chringe worthy twitter video she did with being down to earth and drinking beer. Though all that said maybe she does stand a chance. I mean look at that batshit crazy AOC and how well she did.

@greg0205 Ok so it's just a term of endearment you have for him. That's ok. Got you. ;)

If the majority of criminals could just take a plane and land it in his house, would a wall seem like a pressing concern?
Don't forget about the ports and coastlines in my house. And also the invites I give a whole bunch of people to come couchsurf but they never leave.

ah - just compiling it so that I can see how they behave when Trump decimates the opposition in next elections..

Why are you monitoring our behaviour? I will drink lots of wine to honour him. And then maybe make a little fun of everyone else. If he does not win, I'll just drink wine. That's a win win in my books.

Barriers always work. Ask the Israelis. They build one and swear by it.

After Trump won the elections nothing will surprise me anymore. Marianne Williamson will probably be the next president, given that she's the least likely candidate! Even that wouldn't surprise me at this point!
(oh, and AOC is not crazy!)

Conservative facial ticks, eye twitching and involuntary bowel evacuation at the mere mention of AOC make my spirit soar.

Just becaues you think she's hot doesn't mean she's not crazy.
She has those crazy eyes.
