means nothing unless you have an equally meticulous list of all previous administrations, you'd struggle to find one though, the MSM wasn't always this biased against their own president

Their own president didn't always go around making such whopping great lies all the time, though, to be honest.

That's not being honest, you'd need proof, how could we possibly know of all the lies that they did not report on?

During the 20 year Vietnam War, how many lies were CONSTANTLY repeated verbatim in the press every day? I assume you are aware that war was essentially started with a US false flag? 20 years of war, ~5,000,000 people dead, for nothing.

More recently the WMD Iraq war, ~50,000 people killed as a direct consequence of those lies.

You think Trump's lies are "whopping"?!? mfker please, he's small change in a massive murderous cesspool.

How would they know? They were too busy polishing the a-holes of their past presidents to notice the sewerage pouring from their mouths.

Let me rephrase - "stupid, needless, easily-disproved lies" then.

It's Trump's version of virtue signalling. Yes, the lie is obvious in many cases, but Trump earns loyalty points for doing it anyway. Saying they're needless is overlooking the benefit they afford him.

It took the press years to find proof that the information about Vietnam and Iraq was false. How do you expect them to have known that the Gulf of Tonkin was something other than what the US military claimed, or that WMDs hadn't really been found in Iraq?

They simply didn't have access to that information and when the truth did come out they reported on it faithfully, at great cost to the administrations. Both of those examples are if anything some of the high water moments for the US free press.

But just on a basic fact checking level it's perfectly obvious that Trump's volume of lies exceeds any other modern President by an enormous margin. You don't even need the media to point it out, you can just research his claims to see how bogus they are. Are Mexican gangs duct taping women's mouths as Trump repeatedly claimed? I dare you to find one case that corroborates him.

I've said it before, at least I think I have, if Trump saved a choking child, the left would scream about his physical abuse of the child, the right would praise him like some kind of one touch miracle worker.

The odds of Trump ever trying to save anyone are pretty close to zero.

“So what happens is, this guy falls off right on his face, hits his head, and I thought he died. And you know what I did? I said, ‘Oh my God, that’s disgusting,’ and I turned away,” said Trump. “I couldn’t, you know, he was right in front of me and I turned away. I didn’t want to touch him… he’s bleeding all over the place, I felt terrible. You know, beautiful marble floor, didn’t look like it. It changed color. Became very red.

I don't think he should resign over this, though. I see nothing wrong with blackface, the notion that dressing up as a black person could be racist is hysterical, if anything. The only reason this whole blackface brouhaha was manufactured was to distract from his actually disgusting comments about abortion, which the Dems knew was really really bad PR. And hey, looks like the media did their "look, shiney!" routine right on cue.
Fox News must be so confused by Northam. One the one hand, blackface and racism is cool, so they want to defend him. On the other hand, he's a Democrat. What to do?!

Option 3: bleat about leftist hypocrisy. It's all Alan does anyway.

Oh yeah he's TOO honest. That's his real problem.

Did I say that? You are like the MSM. You have to argue over every single thing anyone says about him. Trump does in fact say things he should not and his honesty gets him into situations that he should not be in.

Yes you literally said he's too honest. Then you repeated it so I'm not sure why you're challenging me on the words you just used.

I didn't say it's the real problem. Nor did I infer it is the only problem. You are making assumptions in bad faith once again, and not just taking it at face value.

That strawman...o_O

I wouldn't even bother. The stupidity of Twitter seems to have manifested here.

Trump is either too honest, or exaggerates far too much. He is really his own worst enemy.

Yeah but that's because he cant do or say things normally, its always got to be over the top.
