It took the press years to find proof that the information about Vietnam and Iraq was false. How do you expect them to have known that the Gulf of Tonkin was something other than what the US military claimed, or that WMDs hadn't really been found in Iraq?
The way they seem to know the direction of every single body hair of Trump I'm sure they could have uncovered real scandals in the past if they bothered, they simply did not bother.

Are Mexican gangs duct taping women's mouths as Trump repeatedly claimed? I dare you to find one case that corroborates him.
Ok I'll bite:

Not actually duct tape. That's normal plastic non-sticky warning tape.

There, NBFTL; did I just reach your level of nitpicking as a means to avoid actual engagement? I hope so. I've been studying your methodology for so long; finally I felt able to match the master of dissemblence!

You do exactly the same. Pot calling the kettle black.

It's quite sweet how you "remember" every post I've made, and how I nitpick down to the last tiny nit (without providing evidence of such); but I''m afraid I am married.

Thanks for the flirtation though.

If you think that's flirtation, I feel very sorry for you. I am surprised you are married if you read into behaviour in that way. I am merely referring to your responses to my posts and topics.

And if you believe that about my response to your post calling out NBFTW, then what does that say about your interest in him? Yeah, I don't think you thought this one through properly.

Wow. Trump is 1.9m. I am also only 9cm shorter when not in heels. Did not expect him to be a giant. Wonder if his massive ego and height have any correlation.

What views do you exactly disagree with?
Your views as I understand them on:
  • How bad Hillary is/was
  • AOC
  • The media
  • Trump supporters
  • The extent of systemic racism in society
  • Abortion
  • The wall
These are the few of the top of my head that I can remember you talking about and all of these I'm literally opposite to you.

A lot of people in my life share your opinions on these topics. Debating here has also not changed my view. However I find it easier to empathize and relate and talk to them now without it ending up in a shouting match.
Btw, why all the radio silence over governor Northram? Funny how a famous white Democrat with the nickname "coonman" gets to go around in blackface and not even a whimper of protests from the White Privilege crowd.

Must be that Democrat Privilege at work again. :sneaky:
He should resign. If he doesn't he should somehow be fired. Jeez if go so far as to say anyone who facilitated this guy and allowed this to slip through the cracks should be fired for incompetence.

If not handled in an adequate way democrats deserve to lose votes.

Happy?

But I mean jeez how bad is Virginia when even the progressives are racist

Not really. You appear to be interested in sincere engagement rather than flinging political poo over the fence, so my snarky comment wasn't really intended in your direction.

Remember how you were asking me about how I'm not bothered about Trump's associates and his picking habits? That's a long video, but I think it will help you to understand the other side of the coin if you watch it. The TL : DR is that institutions become corrupt during periods of decadence because the primary motivation of the people in those institutions becomes self-preservation rather than serving the purpose the institutions purports to carry out. The example in the video is how when a company becomes insolvent, the directors of the company will choose to hide that fact from shareholders while they make sure that they can get out in once piece.

Basically, I think that we're in such a period of decadence, and that means that this sort of corruption is inevitable. But its the maverick outsiders who are more likely to give the populace the unvarnished truth. And you can see some of that in Trump in the way he just flat-out says that the US won't leave Syria because of Israel or how they want Venezuelan oil and so forth.
