Seems like everyone in here was up late.

Has anyone seen someone selling MAGA hats here? I would like one but haven't seen it next to the road or at the fleemarket yet.

I was thinking about bringing in a few just to see what would be the reaction here. I am not afraid of confrontation, so I think it would be fun.

I was watching RT the other day and they had a bunch of Maga wearers getting their hats knocked off shoved or chased for wearing the hat. Pathetic. Most of them seemed to be going about their own business, it's a hat ffs.

It's becoming standard. Take a look at American universities. Some universities are so left that they do not have a single Republican professor. Some Republicans even tell their friends they are Democrat because people take it so seriously. Yesterday I was accused of being right wing because I commented on how AOC is not being very smart politically by alienating those in her own party. Group think at its finest.

I was thinking you would have seen a knockoff MAGA hat sold on the street corners by now. It will definitely sell people like attention.

Haha, I was thinking about getting one this morning on my way to work. I'd love to wear it to work because I know the one director is very anti-trump and pro Hillary. Would be fun to see his reaction.

You need to be careful. Lefties can be very vindictive. Most of them barely have a sense of humour. There is one Lefty here that does, but I am not one to show favoritism.

Indeed. I have an idea of whom you speak.

Fortunitaly this one I work with is ok and not too far gone. We've had a lot of fun ripping each other over the elections.

Even sent him this for his birthday.

Preach girlfriend.

Why just this morning I was thinking how completely good conservatives like us own the libs with our total domination of the humour space. I mean, can you imagine living a life where Roseanne and Louis CK are your comedy styling options? So sad for the Libs. So sad.

I'll admit, each morning as I sip my Coffee and click on the Late Show, I feel a glow in my sub cockle region, and I thank God we conservatives can laugh along with folk like Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, John Oliver, Trevor Noah, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers, Samantha Bee, Michelle Wolf and the cast of Saturday Night Live.

This looks like the native American drummer all over again, provide a 10 second video clip and write the narrative.

No matter the context, hitting someone like that is never justified. The guy didn't retaliate. Kudos to him for that. But, for a second, lets just imagine if it was the white guy hitting the black women in that very same clip. The outrage would be national.

You left out up and coming Michelle Wolf.

Yeah if she initiated physical contact with him then she is in the wrong. Just pointing out that this clip can be highly misleading. If the roles were reversed you would be saying the same thing, questioning the context.

Oh, my bad. I actually cannot believe you listed her. You are completely undermining your own point.

Well, at least in this thread there is someone with a sense of humour. A pretty questionable one, but that's ok.

Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's lies.

EDIT: To be fair, John Kennedy's, "when his IQ gets to 75, he should sell", Roger Stone thing was damn funny.

Don't need to bring race into it, it's bad enough already. Definitely not justified.

This is the part that is getting me stumped. Yes indeed Trump is not responsible for the actions of his lawyer that did not concern trump's business.
However he is still (to me) responsible for his association to that crook and that is the nature of my question.

Here is an example:
Should Trump be charged with the corruption and fraud charges of manafort and Cohen? Absolutely not.

Should Trump supporters continue to ignore his incompetence at selecting people? I would think the answer is no, but it is not. This part I don't understand. It speaks to a poor decision maker with poor judgement.

If it was a once off then sure I could give the benefit of the doubt, but this nonsense is with a large chunk of his associates. It establishes the pattern of trump's behaviour and decision making.
Again, in the domain of politics, I think the only real issue here is that a lot of people are very very motivated to stick it to Trump any way they can. If the media had treated other politicians the way they treat Trump, you'd have a very different impression of them, too.

Well, you know, Trump is a Nazi, his supporters are all Nazis, and everybody knows the right thing to do is to punch a Nazi. And there's no bad tactics, just bad targets. So ya...

This whole privilege narrative that's running through society is a really dangerous thing.

If the media had treated Trump like they treat other politicians, his campaign would have been dead before it started. His idiocy has been treated with much more gentleness and credibility than it deserves.
