So interesting. If there's one thing this whole election has shown it is that we can no longer rely on the media to give us the facts.

Yesterday, with half a million plus protesters in Washington DC, the media coverage was wall-to-wall.

Do you know what the largest demonstrations are in Washington DC?

Every year, in late January, hundreds of thousands go to Washington to protest Roe v Wade. The annual March for Life draws huge crowds, almost all from outside DC.

In 2013, over 650 000 marched in Washington alone, with up to a million more in other cities around the USA. Yet the media remain absolutely silent about it. They took a decision many years ago to utterly ignore the March for Life. For obvious partisan reasons.

I expect today's March to get some reports, but mostly about the anti-protestors opposing the hundreds of thousands marching in support of the cause.

It is no surprise that most people are very skeptical of media reports on crowd sizes.

For example, when were the Trump inaug crowd photos taken - during the actual event, or an hour before when very large crowds were still in huge lines outside security checkpoints? We simply don't know.

Just watching Sky News, Trump at the CIA giving a speech and he still says about the media and journalists – “the most dishonest people on the earth”. :crylaugh:

I do believe that you are correct in say that this is not Trumps area , But Trump has now turned it into him vs the media without providing proof ,perhaps he painted himself in a corner earlier when he said there will be record crowds and its not politically right to admit it.

He's politicking. What politician doesn't make statements that are not 100% factual. His real message is that he doesn't like the media. And there's a growing public that agrees with that.

The media's job is to report news in an unbiased way.
It has became common place for them to be bias and spin the story, but an outright lie isn't exceptable. It's on the same level as a dirty police officer that you trust to uphold the law that then goes an break it himself.
You can't excuse this behaviour as "They are just people to"
