The media's job is to report news in an unbiased way.
It has became common place for them to be bias and spin the story, but an outright lie isn't exceptable. It's on the same level as a dirty police officer that you trust to uphold the law that then goes an break it himself.
You can't excuse this behaviour as "They are just people to"
But they are people so it's OK to lie...you know most people are dishonest.

You seem more concerned about the lies of the media , than the lies of the president . Rather telling

So Trump and his team are happily lying about something as easily disprovable as attendance. This is the same lot that's going to drain the swamp ?
That's a bit disappointing, but understandable. It's cheap political point scoring. My team is beter than your team no matter what. They consider admitting that the turnout was lower would be defeat to the protestors. Not that it matters.

I'd be more surprised if a (recent) US president and the MSM were telling the truth, actually.

He's politicking. What politician doesn't make statements that are not 100% factual. His real message is that he doesn't like the media. And there's a growing public that agrees with that.

But was he not running on a platform that he is not a "politician" and he is different? I have not followed American politics in detail so I could be incorrect

He became a politician soon as he decided to run. i it think he was saying he's not your average Washington politician.

Politicians are known for their lies. I would like one that doesn't lie, but I don't think it exists. Trump is known to exaggerate a lot. This is were I expect the media to do some honest investigative journalism and report the truth, but now they have taken sides. It's annoying as I have to now read multiple sources to try and find the middle ground.

And the Press Secretary started his tenure whinging like a crybaby, and then promptly telling a number of lies. Proud moment.

Douglas Adams said it : "It is a well known fact that those people who most want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it. To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job."

But if he starts saying things on day that are not factually true, while lambasting the media for doing the same is it not contradictory ?

Please point out were I said that.

Just a hint. I said it is expected, but still not okay. I even said it is disappointing that they do it.
