Sure, celebs can have a say on politics. It's as though they're trying to rally the troops though to have him thrown out of office because democracy didn't go their way this time.

Trump tried to do the same thing against Obama in 2012. Not sure why this is an important or big deal.

What I find funny, and what I was alluding to in my post about SA, is how this bunch of phuckwits don't have a word to say about anything when it's not politically correct. Such champions of what is right until it's a woman or person of colour in question. Then, stunning silence as usual or of course calling people whatever -ist fits the argument. Resounding hypocrisy at its finest.

People protest for what they believe in, why is this surprising to you? Every year thousands of republicans protested against things they didn't like from Obama and the Democrats but were silent on other issues, such is their right. Ask yourself if you were equally peed off by this?

I'm not a supporter of Trump specifically either btw. I'm simply against who he was up against at the end and seeing the never ending cries of crocodile tears for me is just an added bonus.

I have never understood this logic, either you support Trump or you don't. Otherwise it seems akin to eating faeces because those you don't like might smell it.

Amazed that so many can be so happy that other people are unhappy. Rubbing it in every chance they get. Plus many came out of the woodwork after Trump won.

They don't achieve anything unless (((unknown shooters))) are involved.

Speaking of unknown shooters. The progressive protesters over in Seattle had an unfortunate incident recently...

A man who shot someone outside a speech at the University of Washington (UW) by conservative provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos said his victim was a “white supremacist,” and police let the shooter go, even as the victim is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. In what appears to be a case of mistaken identity by the “anti-racism” vigilante, the shooting victim later turned out to be a supporter of Bernie Sanders.

I know, it almost feels like that is the only quality they are looking for in a leader. Does he make the SJW's cry? Right im in, who cares about policies.

remember - it's the "unhappy" ones who had lofty liberal values of democracy - until thier candidate lost.
now the meaning of democracy is suddenly lost on them

If a rather sizeable percentage of Australia's women see that their government doesn't give a crap about them, and tries to sign more deals with the US, they might swing their vote to another party in the future, and organise more protests like this one. This kind of thing affects foreign policy, and in Australia's case it's particularly sensitive because they're already being courted more and more by the Chinese, who want them to do fewer trade deals with the US.

so their government is treating them bad and causing distress in their life because they want all the american products?

screw china! yeah thats really pc and nice. china is getting more business because the previous president was more interested in offshore war. but hey thats ok because hes a charismatic speaker. who cares what he does.

lol wtf.

trump is a white male, and it fits so perfectly into their little shallow narrative.

they could not have asked for a better reason to run around the streets with their tits out screaming against immodesty.

Obama's re-election. He'd had four years to form an opinion on Obama's time spent in office. This time it's people losing their schit before the guy had even taken office. The "tolerant" left again.

Where was the violence and threats? Oh, wait. That's the "progressive" left's speciality.

Not when you're dealing with Hillary Clinton as an alternative. Between Trump or her, I support Trump all the way. At this point for me it's the lesser of two evils. What, pray tell, is wrong with that approach and what would you suggest as an alternative?

I agree but this us v them is ridiculous. Also I don't give any credibility to anyone who comes out as a Trump supporter after the election, and there are alot of suddenly "hardened" supporters.

As for the protests I say let them protest. Plenty of people protest against the ANC and i don't see them being taunted and called names.

Fair enough, but people can still form opinions on someone prior to taking office. Otherwise how would you vote.

Would you stop with this strawman please, we have already distinguished that violence and threats = bad. Im specifically talking about peaceful protests here.

Why do you think there is only two options. You can support neither and then still fight against the policies of the one that gets into office.

And I have made it clear that I have no problem with peaceful protests. So I guess we're on the same page on that then?

Otherwise known as - better luck with your vote at the next election.

Sounds like an entertaining afternoon, is it repeated on TV at any time?

If that is your stance then yes :D

I think people should push their politicians to keep them honest . You are more laid back with it which is fine as well.

Hey, we agree on something. Whaddya know. :p

'tis true, though. Protesting is all well and good, but if they don't follow through with action at the ballot box it's not enough.

Same goes for SA. Luckily we have seen change in PTA, JHB, PE etc.
