Still my most WTF face from an answer trump has given. If you are a trump defender, please put this in context and explain for me:

The more interesting question is why he chooses to speak like he does. He is perfectly capable of being eloquent.

All of the anti-Trump people call his supporters idiots.Whilst it is mean, it probably has a few grains of truth in the education and culture of most of the people who support him. Those people don't particularly care about vocab.

As a side bonus it makes useful idiots like the media regurgitate his statements free of charge. You have just done so yourself :p

Still don't know what he was actually trying to say.

It might be. But how could you possibly know?
I don't, I'm just taking a leaf out of the Trump book and calling all news that I don't like, fake news. Hey it's working for Trump, Russia and the alt right, so why not? Besides, sowing mistrust in the media is the first step towards getting censorship accepted. Once that's done the government can do whatever it likes, without worrying about pesky watchdogs and accountability. Such a nuisance, the media, really

But if the media are guilty of passing on fake news as legit then they deserve it. It's a bit like what happened with the scorpions here. Great corruption fighting body with capable investigators but as soon as they started meddling in politics the anc were quick to throw the babu out with the bath water and felt justified about it.

Unfortunately the media brought it onto themselves, their biased agendas exposed for all to see. One thing Trump's election and Brexit has taught us is that you no longer can believe the media.

You see, step 1 is complete. Next up, censorship. I love it when a plan comes together (lights up Cuban cigar)

Nah, otherwise they should have been banning crank sources that have existed for ages. Can you imagine if infowars was banned? Banning media is a very very slippery slope.

Apparently he's also a 'Date-Rapist-To-Be' according to a Comedy Central "comedian"

Vile, take the piss out of Trump (or any adult public figure) all you like but the kid didn't choose his parents - the kid should be off limits..

No, all that it's taught us is that too many of the people who are allowed to vote don't vote on the facts that are presented to them by said media, but on populist promises of no substance peddled by politicians who will tell any lie in order to win.

Most of the mainstream media (CNN, NBC, NYT, WaPO) has a huge left-wing slant and Trump is calling them out for it. Want proof?

More a case of, the left is going to do what the right did during the Obama Administration. Combative, in your face...no quarter. Half truth, no truths...long as it fuels the narrative. Tea party tactics, the days of credible news is over.

Emoluments lawsuit filed: political maneuvering for Trump's tax returns, or a viable

January 23, 2017 —A watchdog group stacked with former White House ethics lawyers and constitutional scholars sued President Trump on Monday morning, accusing the billionaire businessman of violating the US Constitution by permitting his companies to continue accepting payments from foreign governments while he serves as commander-in-chief.

At issue is the seldom-litigated Foreign Emoluments Clause, which the plaintiffs say Mr. Trump began violating Friday upon taking the oath of office. Whether the clause, which restricts members of the government from receiving foreign gifts, applies to the president, however, has been hotly debated in recent weeks, as the American public wrestles with the unprecedented extent of Trump's potential conflicts of interest. Even those sympathetic to the plaintiffs' cause have raised concerns over the adequacy of their suit.

Norman Eisen, who served as chief White House ethics lawyer during former President Obama's first term and who chairs the Center for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), which filed the suit, said one of the goals in taking Trump to court is to force him to disclose the details of his tax returns – records which the research and advocacy group argues could be used to investigate the newly inaugurated president's international business ties.

"Seventy-five percent of Americans want to see the President’s tax returns and so do we," Mr. Eisen said in a statement. "We will seek those in discovery in this case in order to establish the details of the emoluments clause violations here."

Touché...Trump will lead a house divided...America will give up its seat at many a table....China will take the gap, where the US retracts. Interesting times ahead.
