With konfab on this one, it's a silly picture he hung / someone hung due to ego. I don't care if it's fake, it's not exactly hurting anyone. Comparing it to Nkandla is a bit of a reach :)

Yup. They had something like 7 investigations that all failed to find the dirt they were so desperately looking for. They spent more time investigating Benghazi than the bloody 9/11 commission took.

He also promised that if she won he'd just keep piling on spurious investigations throughout her administration.

This being the same people that are whining that Trump is the victim of a witch hunt.

He only gets to claim that if it actually turns out to be fake news. It certainly has hampered him though no doubt, yet that's not an excuse for putting out a schitty health care bill though. Which is what the original article was about.

The only reason the Russian story has hampered him is because he's obsessed with it and he doesn't do his damn job. There's no reason he shouldn't have been deeply involved in every step of the health care bill creation, for example.

Rethinking, I wouldn't put it past Trump to hang it up as a way to set a goal. It fits him.

There is actually a very good reason. The president as leader of the executive branch in government shouldn't really have much of a say on the creation of legislation, as that is the function of the senate and congress.

LOL so he set a goal by hanging fake Time covers all over his golf courses? Sounds like desperate apologetics to me. It's not even such a big deal, just kind of loserish and embarrassing for him.

How much time did Obama spend crafting the ACA? This was Trump's baby, one of his big election promises. He should at a bare minimum understand the fundamental things that go into it.
