Hear that? That is the engines of fake news coming up with a way to spin this against Trump.

A saving like this is good. It is a positive. $22 million over 4 years is a significant saving.

Something is needed to offset his travel costs for his golfing weekends, which has already cost $24 Million to date. Obama's travel costs amounted to $12 million pear year.

How reliable are Trumps estimates though? Until we get the findings from the GAO we wont know for sure.

Not to mention offsetting the cost of Melania having stayed in New York for 6 months at a cost of around $17.6m!

Michelle Obama was a very active FLOTUS with many projects going on and causes supported, so the staff were needed - not sure how Melania compares in that respect.

True that. I am discounting all the other benefits etc. Just looking at it on face value because I doubt any trump supporter would be willing to acknowledge the benefits that may or may not have been created.

So rather point out the glaring hypocrisy with Trump expenditures on his trips to Florida.

Science division of the White House is key staff? :erm:

How can a first world country not have key advisers on scientific matters? Oh I guess countries that deny climate change. Making some sense I guess.

Not if you don't value science.

What do you mean, not value science? Did everyone stop using Computers while I didn't notice?

Not if you believe that global warming and climate change are a hoax perpetrated by the Chinese.

When asked about the alleged vacancies, White House deputy press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told HuffPost on Saturday the report was false.

“This is not true,” Sanders said in an email. “Sadly, someone was more concerned about attacking [President Donald Trump] than getting their story straight.”

A White House official familiar with the OSTP told HuffPost that there are 12 staffers currently working in the science division, despite the report that said otherwise. The official, who requested anonymity to discuss the matter, also said there are 35 people total on staff in the OSTP.

This is from that pro-Trump rag- the HuffingtonPost, so just be careful of the source.
