Donna Stephens is the Head of Marketing and Customer Service at TAKEALOT and is responsible for changing the ‘face’ of the company, making TAKEALOT accessible to its customers. It is her job to ensure the shopping experience and interaction with the company is pleasurable.

Donna was born and raised in Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape where she completed her schooling before attending Rhodes University. After graduating with a Bachelor of Social Science, Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree she was one of only four people chosen nationally for the prestigious British American Tobacco two year marketing management trainee programme.

It was here that her meteoric rise through the ranks of BATSA began. Donna’s drive and ambition saw her exceed all business, management, leadership, relationship and innovation targets for three consecutive years and catapulted her up the corporate ladder.

With her comes a vast experience in relationship building and brand development. Donna is dedicated to making TAKEALOT an open and transparent company who places excellent customer service at the core of its business model. Her capture was a key recruitment for CEO Kim Reid who has assembled a dynamic young team to lead his company to the pinnacle of the SA e-commerce sector.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the online retail market, Donna is a qualified fitness instructor. She is as committed to exercise and healthy living as she is to the customers who shop online at
