I need some help/advice. Since Thursday 12 September my ADSL line is working intermittently - the downstream is constant at 2048Kbps but the upstream is fluctuating between 64Kbps and 512Kbps. Connections last for everything between 30 sec to 60 min, but after hours is constant at whatever speed it was syncing last.
Telkom is no help at all - a port reset does not help either, it just comes back. On 3 different occasions I was disconnected while phoning 10210. Sometimes there is a lot of clicking and background noise.
They cannot even tell me if they are busy upgrading the exchange, which would explain the problem.
Anyone know somebody I could phone to get more details to fix the problem?
