Douglasdale/telkom extremely poor??

Is it me or is it anyone else.
My dl is under 1mb/s and upload is 0.3 -> Upgraded by telkom to a 4meg line.

It is usually over 1.5 to 2mb/s and during the day my ping in all games/VOIP applications are extremely high.
At night it is reasonable, but as soon as I load one page my ping spikes up again. not to mention the slow load times and Even worse load times during the daytime
I have never had this kind of problem.

What is going on?

Got upgraded to a 4meg yesterday today im back down to a crappy 1meg this is in the edenvale area though but i feel your pain

What is going on?

It may be your exchange is congested. I know the Olivedale exchange ehich should be yours is connected to numerous complexes and closed communities which means more people connected. Also with the line upgrades possibly Telkom has given out too much speed for your exchanges backhaul to handle.

Congested exchange is the likely cause you could look at a tracert to google.com to check the theory out.
