Unlike always on connections (ADSL) most users of 3G connections disconnect the modem when not being used.
Would it not be possible to incorporate a power switch into this modem for this purpose.
Also, What about a high gain antenna as an accessory?
Are there any plans to use the second USB port for an external storage device, such as an external hard drive? If not, does anyone know of a device that can do that?
Try the following.
Send the sms to +100, We only do a check that there is a + sign in the beginning of the phone number.
This is documented on our UMR support website: http://www.dovado.com/UMR_Support.html#umrsmsshortno

Isn't that just a link to the router's page? i.e. http://192.168.0.1 ...on top you can see the usage.
If you don't see the connection details, then update your firmware. My router didn't have it initially until i updated.
I see this :
You can also see above status directly with a link like this : http://192.168.0.1/cgi-bin/statusbar.cgi?getall+/content/statusbar.html. With Google Chrome you can make the link into a "desktop application" if you like then it runs in it's own little process.
[just replace 192.168.0.1 to whatever your router's IP is set to...that's the default though]
Thanks - usage not a problem stats are not bad on that, what would be nice is to see real-time download and upload speeds.
Running firmware v3.0.5
I think it's best that you use some PC-based tools for that because a utility like that would hog up the CPU of the router and burden the other processes.

Care to describe how to do this for everyone to learn?
Thanks
Do you rely heavily on some websites, such as your email? If so, you may want to create applications shortcuts for these websites that can be placed on your computer desktop, Quick Launch menu, and Start menu for easy access. Here's how:
1. Click the page menu page menu.
2. Select Create application shortcuts.
3. In the Gears dialog box, select the checkboxes for the locations where you want shortcuts to be placed.
4. Click OK.
When you double-click a shortcut icon, the website opens in a special streamlined window that doesn't display tabs, buttons, the address bar, or menus. Many of the browser functions are available instead in the drop-down menu that appears when you click the page logo in the upper-right corner of the window. If you click a link that takes you to a different website, the link opens in a standard Google Chrome window so you won't lose track of your website.
