Drag and drop not working MBA

I've got a problem all of a sudden on my MBA where I can't drag a file or a folder anymore to where I want it to be.

It happened a month ago but went 'away', then all of a sudden yesterday it was working fine before it stopped working all of a sudden. I did a restart and it was okay again. Then 30 minutes later it was not working. I was basically just tidying up some folders and dragging things about to reorganise my files. But now I click on a file or folder to drag it somewhere else, and it highlights it but it doesn't move when I try to drag????

This is with the trackpad and the mouse. Same story. So a restart fixes it, but then it stops again?

I've had a look about google but can't find anyone with the same problem. Any ideas? It's a mid 2013 MBA 13" and it's on the latest Yosemite 10.10.2

Thanks. I'm still a bit of a macnoob so was not aware of such things

A quick google and it's done. There were an absolute shedload of repairs mind you so let's hope that was one of them.

Are you using a bluetooth mouse. There is an issue with bluetooth and wifi. I say for 2 nights trying all the tips to get it fixed. Bluetooth mouse starts lagging and becomes unresponsive. And
It is random

Yeah, it's the bluetooth mouse but I don't use it all the time. This time the problems were when it was not connected at first then when it was connected later.

One strange thing that has happened.

I notice that in Safari now, when I click on my MyBB bookmark which usually takes me to my 'participated threads' page, I now get a MyBB error message saying

Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.

So I click on the "User CP" button in the top right of the MyBB page, and now it takes me to

https://outlook.office365.com/vb/usercp.php?realm=co.za&vd=mybroadband

Is this related to me repairing permissions?
