They are for ever changing their T&Cs. I had a look into it last year and decided to run faster than Forest Gump. Then a good friend who saw this as her only opportunity to get a replacement car recently told me that you have to buy a new car, organise the finance yourself and they now only pay you for advertising on your car.

This removes all risk from them.

If you cannot afford the car payment and petrol to travel, do not do this.

But if you can, then great if you can make some extra cash.

How anyone can drive around with that cr@p all over their car that they are paying for is beyond me.

They should be paying you to do that and they are not, it really amazes me. Fankly I rather drive a 20 year old skadonk than advertise anyone else's garage/dealership/whatever/scam. But maybe that's just me.

Scam? yes.

I would stay away from these.

I investigated this as a option before I got my first car, it took them 5 minutes to approve me and that was really dodgy.

If you read the fine print 'in detail' you'll see that they expect you to do a certain amount of mileage in the car and you have to take photos showing the signage (if it's still on the car or not) basically weekly and the cheek of it is, it must have the date and time etc on the photo.

And it's NOT just R699! You have to take insurance out that THEY approve, for me, they only insurance they would approve was insurance that wouldve cost me R1800 pm!
So add the R699 to that!

There is more to that, but suffice to say, I just didn't bother with them.

Also, the cars are NOT new... they are hard driven cars.

The web site for them is: http://justgroup-africa.com/

I have purchased a vehicle on this system and it is working great for me. I promote the system and in turn earn commissions for each car that is sold with my code as a reference. I make the full repayment for the finance for the vehicle and then on average always receive commissions of two or three cars a month that are sold with my code as a reference. My full repayment is R 2700 and my insurance is about R 400 a month. I therefore drive a brand new car and in turn earn R 6000 to R 9000 income, which I use for the monthly installment and then also have left over money. This scheme is not a scam. There are complainants on Hellopeter but one must bear in mind that these cars are sold countrywide and in numbers exceeding 500 cars per month. Also there are various complaints about the cars themselves. In fairness the complaints are related to the manufacturer of the vehicle which do not get dealt with adequately by the manufacturer's dealer. This type of complaint is prevalent in all aspects of the motor industry and not unique or specific to this system of purchasing a vehicle. Visit the website www.agera/ewyo/A7886/ to see more details on the system.

Wtf ...first post and u bragging about a suspect system. Albert Venter is that you?

And after all that hoopla, you have to pay the full installment they can still decide not to reimburse you. It's a rip-off of note! I agree with deleting this thread

Yeah. I've also heard of cases where the Co drag their feet on repayment of the "advertising comm" to such an extent that the person who took the car ends up in financial BS cos they can't afford 2 k monthly repayments.

No, don't delete this thread. It servers as the opposite. Anyone who stumbles across it can read just how bad this deal is and get all the info here on how this company scams you.

Just wow. Tricking the public into stuff like this is instance. But then there is that whole thing about a fool and his money...

It's not a scam, just a lot of admin.

So if you don't mind driving with a car emblazoned with ads on the back window and doing monthly admin to get your $$, go for it.

you apply for full amount, then get rebates after your monthly PT. also min KM to drive etc....

Not a good idea. also if car gets damaged then no more rebates.
