Yeah, I like this. Lock 'em up. I'd like to see them deal with texting and driving offenders similarly.

Hey, the article isn't clear, so how do they proof your supposed crime, since you seem to know?
If you don't drink and drive, none of this matters does it?

Words like "prove your supposed crime" becomes irrelevant.

What are you implying will now suddenly start to happen? People who do not have a drop of alchohol in their system, will just be locked up for 7 days, willy nilly?

Please....

for a draught you had with lunch more than 2 hours ago? are you ****ed in the head?
I'm fukked in the head? Nope, not at all.
"a draught you had with lunch more than 2 hours ago? "...yeah right. We've all heard that excuse before. BS.

Sounds like there are quite a few advocates or practitioners of drinking and driving in this thread.

No sympathies then. Take your chances.

haha ya see, your exact reaction is what happens, then off to prison for 7 days.

meanwhile i was with the person who decided only to drink 1 draught during lunch because they are driving home a couple of hours later. it helped fokkol because of attitudes like yours.

Not my attitude that's the problem...it's your buddy's and yours.

I wonder what would have happened if he didn't have a draught at all?

And you're an even bigger chop if you're one of those dudes who insists on driving after a few drinks when your wife / girlfriend hasn't had anything to drink & is perfectly capable of driving.

Which means technically you are still drunk. Calling it a "fat babbelas" doesn't change the facts.
My cousin got nicked in London for driving under the influence the morning after a heavy session. Lost his license for a year. Here he would have most likely just been fined.

yes yes and here you are waiving the law around. yet the law does not state a 0% limit.

why bother having destinations that require you to travel to them to consume their alcohol at all, just ban it. you say use uber, but alternate transport is not available everywhere in the country, although every town has a bar.

Then have a good glass of red with your fillet.

NVM. I misread your post.

Legally one could drink until you hit the limit right?
What if the officer doesn't have a breathalyzer on him but he says he smells alcohol? He then locks you up. While this might be unlawful, what are you going to do? Resist arrest? You'll only be able to deal with this post 7 days. That's nuts.
