DS Lite... I think not!

Looks like there is trouble in paradise for the DS Lite, got some quality control issues. It says here that they develop cracks on the one hinge.

It wouldn't stop me buying one if Nintendo ZA would bring the ****ing thing into the country.

i dont think over 500,000 people who have bought this globaly were stopped by that hinge issue... the DS Lite is outselling the PSP and any other handheld at the moment.

and something new from yesterday.

The news comes after Nintendo of America issued a press release acknowledging that a small number of DS Lite consoles are showing cracks in their plastic casing on the left hand side of the hinge on the console, just above the power connector. They did say that the flaw is extremely rare, though, affecting just 0.02 per cent of units.
