DSL and FTTH prices in South Africa compared - June 2023

Pricewise aside, there is no comparison I would think.

Your Telkom fibre vs ADSL graph shows Price per MB, and should Price per Mbps. "B" is the universally accepted unit for bytes, while "b" is the universally accepted unit for bits. The "per second" or "ps" indicates a data connection speed, while omitting that indicates a data quantity. Normally 8 bits per byte, plus headers, etc. on top of payload over an internet connection, so difference is usually a factor 9 to 10 between MBps and Mbps.

Except when you stay in a area that only has ADSL and terrible Lte (Ramsgate *cough* *cough*)

@Jan I'm not telling you how to do your job but it would be a good idea for writers to ask themselves "What will the first 5 comments in the thread be?" When brainstorming ideas for articles.

Jinne, are things slow in SA today? This is basically the same article as the previous on on the same subject which was the same article...ugh, you get it.

Rinse! Repeat!
