DSL Contract Fee

This has been appearing on my account for a while now:
DSL Contract Fee R62.19 (vat excl.)

Doing a search (for the amount, the name gave me nothing) indicates that this is a contract cancellation penalty. This has appeared since the first month of the contract and no, I have not cancelled it.

Has anyone had similar problems and how did you sort them out? I have been to the Telscum Shop 3 times now (over the course of a few months) and they always tell me that the problem is being looked at!

I wonder how many suspect charges appear on peoples accounts and they don't even notice it. Telkom could be making millions with this tactic!

paradox did u maybe upgrade ur adsl line speed? coz apparently that counts as a cancellation

Does anyone else with an uncancelled contract get charged this fee?

My line has always been 384.

No and i upgraded from 512 to 1mb
