IS completely dead here in dbn. Local and international down. SAIX working fine though

Ok...i see its in JHB...

The main SAIX buliding thingamajigalo is housed in Rosebank:)

My line was affected last time there was a problem in Rosebank, but My line is fine now

Also having connection problems on iBurst - I'm not sure if it is related...

Unable to connect to Rosebank tower and a similar reported problem at Braamfontein tower.

I can't play my mud.. but can visit thier website *ponder* Also I notice the rtt's are 100+ms worse off than normal since early just morning.

Ok...i see its in JHB...

Most of the international peering links run from Rosebank and Melkbosstrand.

my line was just down for a few hours.. then cellphone signal went away for an hour or so. Was having IS local problems last night. Just came back and all seems fine for now

in durban westville my line was down for a few hrs in the early mornng......i was quite irritated cos i was downloading stuff i needed to finish asap

My ADSL line been down in Greyville/Berea in Durban since around midday.

I've had to use my dialup for a few hours which was probably what Telkom intended. Get revenue from the ADSL subscription AND the pay-per-second dialup phone call, nogal.

Also, about a week ago my line was down......phoned telkom and the guy insisted it was my router :( , 'i should have bought a router from telkom,'......phoned again,spoke to a different guy and found out there was a 'network failure'.......
