Quite an interesting read
"According to the DSL Forum, there are roughly 73.4 million DSL subscribers worldwide. Most of them use ADSL services, which typically offer 8mbps of downstream bandwidth at distances of up to 5 or 6 kilometers."
[|)] Wow imagine having even 1 mbps not the least to say 8mbps. But we have to agree to telkom their product is on par with world standards just 16 times slower than the average and capped to infinity.[V]
Imagine having adsl running at 200mbps what that would do to the economy of this country we wouldnt be a third world country anymore thats isolated so far that we couldnt compete. we would be right on their doorsteps.
Wonder how long is telkom is gonna take before its gonna start releasing this product??? 20 years 30 years if u take into account how long its taken us to get here from 56k speeds. what its been 15 years now?
Proud South african rip offs.
