DSTV 1110 - need to connect to an older set

I'm currently at the wild coast on holiday - brought down my decoder 1110, now the tv i need to connect to only has the normal aerial connection and red,white,yellow connectors.

On the decoder are rf in and rf out, can i use these, what are they for?

Sorry, typo - the tv only has the normal aerial connection and no red,white,yellow connectors like on the decoder.

You need to use the RF out connector on the decoder and plug it into the aerial connector on the TV.

One used to be able to have two decoders and one card. Then there's no shlepping decoders around, but DSTV in all their wisdom, decided to stop it.

Yup it had to come, cos its soo much better to take a laptop & 3G modem & find webstreaming to watch the cricket & rugby while on holiday

DSTV may have crap.... but SABC has got NOTHING! (not even crap.)

Because some people believe that all problems they have with their DSTV are caused by DSTV... which is not true at all.

There has been some issues, but come on...
